The Revealed Word Icon - Sacred Icon Exhibition in Stresa

From June 13 to June 21, 2026, Stresa will host the exhibition “The Revealed Word Icon”, an event dedicated to sacred art and the Christian iconographic tradition. The exhibition presents the works of Sister Giannina Bulla, created in collaboration with Sister Annaluisa Fontana, offering visitors an artistic and spiritual journey through the language of icons.

The exhibition will be held at the Parish Hall of Stresa, located at Via Principessa Margherita 1, and represents an opportunity to explore the symbolic and religious meaning of the icon, which has been considered for centuries a tool for contemplation and reflection.

The Opening Presentation

The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Villa Ducale – Sala Pusineri, with a presentation event open to the public and to enthusiasts of sacred art.

The icons on display depict episodes, figures, and symbols of the Christian tradition through an artistic form that combines spirituality, technique, and beauty. Each work invites visitors to reflect on the deeper meaning of the images, according to a tradition rooted in both Eastern and Western religious culture.
