Stresa Festival 2026: Programme and Tickets

From 16 July to 9 September 2026, the Stresa Festival returns, one of the most important music festivals in Italy and Europe. Now in its 65th edition, the Festival offers almost two months of concerts combining classical music, jazz and contemporary sounds in some of the most fascinating venues on Lake Maggiore.

Under the artistic direction of cellist Mario Brunello, the Stresa Festival is renowned for the quality of its artistic programme and its ability to showcase the local area through music. The 2026 programme will feature internationally acclaimed artists and ensembles performing in iconic venues such as the Stresa Festival Hall, the Borromean Islands, the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, the Rocca Borromea of Angera, Villa Ponti in Arona and, for the grand finale, the prestigious Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

The 2026 edition is organised around four musical paths: Jazz, Young, Classic and Antiqua, offering a rich calendar of events for both music lovers and visitors wishing to enjoy a unique cultural experience on Lake Maggiore.

The Four Souls of the Stresa Festival

This year once again, the Festival is divided into four musical sections, each dedicated to a different artistic language.

Jazz

The Jazz section will bring internationally renowned artists to Lake Maggiore, including Dhafer Youssef, Raphael Gualazzi, Luca Sestak, the Kebyart Quartet, Accordi Disaccordi and Renaud Garcia-Fons, ranging from contemporary jazz to Mediterranean influences and world music.

Young

Designed for younger and more curious audiences, the Young section presents three concerts dedicated to electronic music and new sounds featuring Umarell, Faccianuvola and Lorenzo Senni on Isola dei Pescatori.

Classic & Antiqua

The historical heart of the Stresa Festival features an extensive programme of concerts dedicated to the great composers of classical music, performed by some of the finest orchestras, conductors and soloists on the international stage.
