Stresa Classica - 5th International Elegance Contest for Classic Cars and Youngtimers

On Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15, 2026, Stresa will host the fifth edition of Stresa Classica, the International Elegance Contest dedicated to classic cars and youngtimers. The event will take place between Piazza Guglielmo Marconi and the historic Hotel Regina Palace, transforming the town on Lake Maggiore into an exceptional stage for iconic vehicles and models that have marked the history of motoring.

Stresa Classica brings together collectors, enthusiasts, and curious visitors for two days dedicated to the style, history, and elegance of automobiles, featuring public parades, technical evaluations, and the final awards ceremony for the most representative vehicles.

Competition categories: Classic Cars and Youngtimers

The contest is divided into two main categories:

• Classic Cars, true icons of historic motoring
• Youngtimers, the so-called “modern classics,” more recent models that are becoming cult objects among collectors and enthusiasts

During the event, the vehicles will be evaluated by a specialized jury, which will examine authenticity, state of preservation, elegance, and technical characteristics.

Saturday, March 14 – Youngtimer Défilé

The event begins on Saturday, March 14, 2026, with activities dedicated to Youngtimers.

1:30 PM – Participant accreditation at Hotel Regina Palace
(Corso Umberto I, 29 – Stresa)

3:30 PM – Youngtimer Défilé “The modern classics of yesterday”

From the Regina Palace Hotel, the cars will drive to Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, where they will parade on the Red Carpet in front of the public. During the parade, the vehicles will be presented by commentators who will share stories, curiosities, and historical details about the competing models.

At the end of the parade, the cars will return to the Regina Palace, where they will be displayed on the hotel lawn together with the classic vehicles for technical inspections and aesthetic evaluations by the jury.

Sunday, March 15 – Classic car parade and awards ceremony

Sunday, March 15, 2026 is dedicated to classic automobiles, the stars of one of the most anticipated moments of the event.

10:30 AM – Classic Car Défilé “Timeless Beauties”

From the Regina Palace Hotel, the historic vehicles will reach Piazza Marconi, where they will parade on the Red Carpet before the public. As with the Youngtimer parade, the cars will be presented with stories and interesting facts about their history and the features that make them unique.

After the parade, the vehicles will return to the Regina Palace for the completion of the jury’s technical and aesthetic evaluations.

3:00 PM – Grand Finale and awards ceremony

The weekend will conclude with the awarding of the best Classic Cars and Youngtimers, the highlight of the event.
