Run like Santa Claus 2025 – Stresa

The traditional Christmas run “Corri Come Babbo Natale” returns to Stresa on Sunday, 7 December 2025, for its 10th edition. A now-unmissable event — fun, lively and open to everyone — that fills the town center with a festive atmosphere and lots of Santa Clauses of all ages.

The event is organized by Pro Loco Stresa, with the patronage of the City of Stresa and the Lake District Tourist Board, and features a non-competitive 6 km run through the streets of the town, starting and finishing in Piazza Cadorna.

Programme of the day

• 10:00 AM – Start of the 1 km Mini Run (maximum age: 10 years)
• 10:30 AM – Start of the 6 km race

At the end of the run, refreshments will be available for all participants.

Registration fee

• Adults: €5 (including race kit)
• Mini Run children: €3

Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Marzio Ostini Nursery School of Stresa, making the run not only a sporting event but also an act of solidarity.

Prizes and awards

Awards are planned for:

• the first 5 men and 5 women of the main run
• the first 5 boys and 5 girls of the Mini Run
• a special prize for the best Santa Claus
• raffle prizes among all participants
