Quattro passi in compagnia - Stresa

On Sunday, 13 September 2026, Quattro passi in compagnia returns, the non-competitive panoramic food walk that takes participants on a journey through the hamlets of Stresa and the landscapes of the Borromean Gulf, including a motorboat trip to Isola dei Pescatori.

A day to spend walking through some of the most picturesque places in the Stresa area, alternating the route with several food stops.

A food walk through the hamlets of Stresa

Quattro passi in compagnia offers a route of approximately 13 kilometres, with an elevation gain of around 600 metres, designed to combine outdoor activity, views of Lake Maggiore and good food.

The route starts from the Lido di Carciano and crosses the hilly area behind Stresa, passing through several hamlets and localities before returning towards the lake.

It is not a race: the walk is non-competitive and is intended above all as an opportunity to spend a day together, discovering the area at your own pace.

The stops along Quattro passi in compagnia

Several food stops are planned along the route, spread across the hamlets and localities crossed during the walk.

After departing from Lido di Carciano, the route will reach Carciano, Levo, Campino, Someraro, Brisino, Passera and finally return to the Lido di Carciano.

The day also includes a motorboat trip to Isola dei Pescatori, adding one of the most characteristic places in the Borromean Gulf to the walk through the hills above Stresa.

Departure and registration

The meeting point is on Sunday, 13 September at the Lido di Carciano.

Registration will begin from 8:30 am, with gadgets and water provided to participants.

Departures will be staggered from 9:00 am onwards. The latest scheduled time for completing the route is 6:30 pm.

How much does it cost to participate?

The participation fee for Quattro passi in compagnia 2026 is:

• €35 per person;
• €20 for children up to 10 years old.

The stated price does not include wine and other drinks.

How to book

To participate, booking is required by Sunday, 6 September 2026.

Bookings are accepted exclusively via WhatsApp message at 320 1447076.

The message must include the first name, surname, age and number of participants.

Places are limited, so the event poster recommends not waiting until the last few days to make a booking.

Quattro passi in compagnia is a special opportunity to discover a lesser-known side of Stresa. From the lake, the route climbs towards its hamlets, crossing an area characterised by small villages, trails and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Borromean Gulf.

The food stops mark the different stages of the day and transform the walk into an itinerary that explores not only the landscape, but also the convivial atmosphere and local communities that bring the hamlets to life.

The experience is completed by the motorboat trip to Isola dei Pescatori, one of the symbolic places of Lake Maggiore.
