“Open Air Art” Exhibition 2026 - Isola dei Pescatori | Loving Stresa

On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Isola dei Pescatori will host one of the most evocative artistic events of spring on Lake Maggiore: the “Open Air Art” exhibition, a collective exhibition dedicated to the Artists of Lake Maggiore that transforms the village into a large open air gallery.

The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM through the streets and panoramic corners of Isola Superiore dei Pescatori, giving visitors the opportunity to meet artists, observe artworks live, and enjoy a day immersed in art, lake scenery, and landscape.

An exhibition among colors, landscapes, and live painting

“Open Air Art” was created with the aim of enhancing the Lake Maggiore area through the creativity of local artists. During the day, visitors will be able to watch painters and artists at work among easels, canvases, and colors, creating works inspired by the island landscapes, the reflections of the lake, and the unique atmosphere of the village.

Isola dei Pescatori, with its houses overlooking the water, narrow alleys, and views over the Borromean Gulf, becomes a natural exhibition space where art and landscape merge into an engaging and authentic experience.
