Nativity scenes in the hamlet - Stresa

During the Christmas season, Stresa presents “Nativity Scenes in the Hamlets”, a widespread event that brings together nativity scenes and installations created by volunteers, associations, and families from the different local communities.
A simple yet moving itinerary, perfect for discovering the most authentic side of the small villages surrounding the town.

The nativity scenes are displayed in the main hamlets of Stresa: Campino, Levo, Magognino, Someraro, Binda, Passera, Isola dei Pescatori, as well as exhibitions set up only inside the churches of Carciano and Brisino.
There are also dedicated nativity scenes beneath the church forecourt in Someraro and Vedasco, two particularly atmospheric spots that attract visitors and enthusiasts every year.

Walking through narrow alleys, courtyards, and panoramic viewpoints, visitors encounter traditional nativity scenes, handcrafted displays, light compositions, and creative interpretations that highlight the deep connection between the hamlets and their cultural identity.
The route is open and accessible, perfect for families, photographers, and anyone wishing to experience the magic of Christmas in a peaceful and intimate setting.

“Nativity Scenes in the Hamlets” is an opportunity to discover a different side of Stresa, where local creativity and community spirit turn into a true journey through Christmas tradition.
