Mercatino Regionale Piemontese 2026

On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026, the Mercatino Regionale Piemontese returns to Stresa, the travelling market dedicated to Piedmont's outstanding food and wine products. Throughout the weekend, from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, the Public Gardens along the lakefront will host producers and specialities from across Piedmont, together with the Traditional Games of the Past.

An opportunity to stroll along Stresa's lakefront while discovering typical products, flavours and traditions from different areas of Piedmont.

Piedmontese excellence comes to Stresa

The Mercatino Regionale Piemontese is a travelling event created with the aim of promoting the region and its products through the direct participation of local companies and producers.

Among the exhibition stands, visitors will be able to meet producers who preserve processing methods and traditions linked to their local areas and purchase selected Piedmontese products, some of which are difficult to find through conventional retail channels.

The Stresa event will take place over two days, allowing visitors to explore the market on both Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September.

What to find at the Mercatino Regionale Piemontese

A walk among the exhibitors will above all be a journey through the flavours of Piedmont.

Among the highlights will be Piedmontese cheeses, both fresh and aged, with specialities such as Castelmagno d'Alpeggio, Testun, Paglierina, tome cheeses and products made from cow's, goat's and sheep's milk.

There will also be plenty of space for cured meats from the Langhe and specialities such as Barolo salami and Alba white truffle salami, ideally accompanied by some of the region's most representative wines, including Barbera, Grignolino and Dolcetto.

Those with a sweet tooth will also find plenty to enjoy: Cuneesi, Monregalesi, amaretti, Baci di Dama, Piedmontese hazelnut cake, artisan chocolate and hazelnut spreads.

The selection also includes bread and baked goods, focaccia, pizza, rice, flour, gluten-free pasta and other specialities. The products on offer will also include jams, honey, mushrooms and the famous Nocciole Piemonte IGP (PGI Piedmont Hazelnuts).

Traditional Games of the Past

Alongside the gastronomic specialities, the Stresa event will also feature the Traditional Games of the Past, an initiative inspired by traditional pastimes that makes the market particularly enjoyable for families as well.

The weekend therefore becomes not only an opportunity to buy and taste local products, but also a chance to spend time together on Stresa's lakefront.
