International Music Competition “Città di Stresa” 2026 - 43rd Edition

In May 2026, Stresa will host the 43rd edition of the International Music Competition “Città di Stresa”, one of the most important events dedicated to young musical talents. The event attracts musicians, students, and enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad, offering a unique opportunity for artistic exchange in one of the most charming locations on Lake Maggiore.

The performances will take place at the Stresa Congress Center, with sessions open to the public and free admission, allowing everyone to enjoy high level performances.

Competition program

The competition is structured over several days, divided between school sections and international contests:

• Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14, 2026: School competition from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026: International competition from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Sunday, May 17, 2026: Final awards ceremony from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

During all days, open rehearsals will also be available to the public, offering the chance to experience the artistic journey of the participants up close.
