Classic Eleganza Stresa 2026: Historic Cars on Lake Maggiore

On Saturday October 10 and Sunday October 11, 2026, one of the most fascinating events for historic motoring enthusiasts returns: Classic Eleganza Stresa, now celebrating its 19th edition.

For an entire weekend, Stresa will welcome a selection of historic cars, which will first be displayed at the Hotel Regina Palace and then, on Sunday, take part in the traditional parade in Piazza Marconi.

Organised by Classic Club Italia and held under the patronage of the Municipality of Stresa, the event is included in the calendars of ASI – Automotoclub Storico Italiano and FIVA – Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens.

Classic Eleganza Stresa, a Weekend Dedicated to Historic Cars

Classic Eleganza Stresa combines a passion for classic cars with the setting of Lake Maggiore, bringing vehicles to the town that tell the story of different eras, styles and periods in automotive history.

The heart of the event will once again be the historic Hotel Regina Palace, an event partner and the venue where the cars will be inspected by the judges. Participants will also stay here, and some of the activities scheduled during the weekend will take place at the hotel.

The event is one of the highlights of Classic Club Italia's annual calendar and, in 2026, reaches its nineteenth edition.

Saturday, October 10: Historic Cars at the Regina Palace

The first event open to the public is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, when the historic cars can be admired from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Hotel Regina Palace in Stresa.

It will be an opportunity to see the participating vehicles up close and appreciate their design, details and features in one of the city's most iconic historic hotels.

Sunday, October 11: The Car Parade in Piazza Marconi

On Sunday, October 11, the stars of Classic Eleganza will move into the heart of Stresa.

Starting at 9:00 am, Piazza Marconi will host the historic car parade. The vehicles will be presented individually and described by the event's speaker, allowing the public not only to admire them but also to learn more about each one.

After the parade by the lake, the cars will return to the Regina Palace, where they will remain on display until the awards ceremony decided by the judging panels.

Classic Cars and the Charm of Lake Maggiore

The setting of Stresa is an integral part of the character of Classic Eleganza. The lakefront, historic buildings and views of the Borromean Islands provide the backdrop to an event designed to combine historic motoring, culture and the local area.
